DENVER – (AUGUST 31, 2017) The Cable Center has selected Pushkin PR to develop and launch a campaign to promote the Community of Innovators, a program designed to promote the entrepreneurial spirit on which the cable TV industry was built by connecting people and ideas to advance innovation within the industry.
The program, which will be initially piloted in Denver, aims to connect cable’s trailblazers and top executives with the next generation of leaders who will help define the industry’s future. The industry’s founders were visionaries who developed the fiber-optic cable and modem that made much of today’s technology possible. Through the Community of Innovators, The Cable Center intends to build a foundation for the future by inspiring students, the industry’s rising stars, and entrepreneurs, and strengthen the perception of the cable industry as bold and cutting-edge.
The Cable Center is the history keeper connecting the public to the industry’s celebrated past. Established as an educational nonprofit organization in 1985, The Cable Center plays an integral role in the cable industry. Home to the Cable Hall of Fame and other exhibits, The Center’s resources and information document cable’s rich heritage. Programs at The Cable Center support and fuel the ongoing impact of the industry’s historic innovations and influence.
