Today marks the 70th anniversary of the WWII D-day invasion of Normandy, France. Recently, a member of our team visited Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial and the D-day Beaches. It was a moving experience. Here are some photos from the trip. There are 9,387 marble tombstones throughout the 172.5 acre cemetery. Many tombstones mark the graves of fallen soldiers who were never identified.
